When you study voice and opera at CIM, you get more than a secure technical foundation in vocal and dramatic skills. You’ll build a deep love and respect for the art forms that feature the singing actor. In addition to diction, style, musicianship and vocal pedagogy, your curriculum stresses the importance of the artist’s role in the community.

You’ll learn the Italian method of singing known as Bel Canto, which focuses on free, unforced sound. That’s how you’ll acquire the building blocks you need for a successful career based on excellent musicianship and vocal health.
