CIM Career Center
CIM facilitates classroom and experiential learning opportunities to prepare and inspire musicians for a diverse and dynamic professional life, including First Year Experience and Senior Seminar for bachelor's degree students and Master's Seminar for graduate students.
From entrepreneurial studies to artist citizenship, the Conservatory curriculum explores the full spectrum of a meaningful creative career. CIM empowers continued growth by providing resources to articulate artistic goals, attract audiences, solve issues of access, and monetize a livelihood centered in classical music.
For CIM students seeking input on resumes, professional development, and creative paths for employment and skill-building, CIM’s three Career Advisors - Ariel Karas, Jennifer Arnold, and Artina McCain - are all CIM alumni who have built vibrant careers in classical music and can offer valuable resources, perspective, and input. Students may schedule one-on-one sessions or participate in workshops on a variety of subjects open to the student and alumni community.
