There are deep, unexpected connections between physics and music. In this concert, music emerges from randomness and audience members have the chance to participate in the creative process. CIM faculty Alex Cooke (MM ’14, DMA '18, Fitch) and CWRU faculty Jesse Berezovsky lead this project as the composers and principal investigators, with technical support from Huay Din, Ryan Buechele and Luke Adelman.
Performed by
- Lilyanne Dorilas, violin (CWRU)
- Bryan Sun, violin (CWRU)
- Cristina Micci-Barreca, viola (CIM)
- Ethan Cogdill, cello (CWRU)
- Huan Zhang, piano (CIM)
- Jesse Berezovsky, interface control (CWRU)
This work was made possible by support from the CWRU College of Arts and Sciences through the Expanding Horizons Initiative.
