CIM Opera Theater and CIM New Music Ensemble will collaborate to perform four short chamber operas by CIM composition students.
Repertoire
- A Storm We Call Progress by master’s student Emma Cardon (Fitch)
- Original libretto by Kirsten Barker and Laurana Wheeler Roderer.
- Ruth by undergraduate student Daniel DiMarino (Fitch/O. Kaler)
- Loosely based on the Biblical story of Ruth; libretto written by Daniel DiMarino.
- The Blind by Arseny Gusev (BM ’22, Fitch/Babayan)
- Based on the play by Maurice Maeterlinck; adapted by Tikhon Antonov.
- Loneliness by undergraduate student Yoav Sadeh (Fitch)
- Based on a short story by Bruno Shulz; adapted by Yoav Sadeh
