labor will debut on CMNH’s planetarium dome.
The Planetarium holds 87 and is wheelchair accessible. The films will run several times throughout the evening. After the premier, the films will become part of the Planetarium’s regular programming. Tickets are $10. Visit cim.edu for more information on this exciting event as it becomes available.

CIM OPERA THEATER REPLACES ROSSINI WITH HUMPERDINCK’S
HANSEL AND GRETEL, Hosts Food Drive
February 29 – March 3
The CIM Opera is having a fairy tale season. Following a successful staging of Massenet’s Cendrillon (Cinderella) in the fall, artistic director David Bamberger decided to keep the magic going with Englebert Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel February 29 – March 3.
This reflects a change from the published Concert Guide. Originally, Rossini’s La Cambiale di Matrimonio was slated for the first production in the New Year, but following in the footsteps of television producers, the Opera Theater opted for a “mid-season replacement” that will delight audiences of all ages.
The CIM Orchestra, conducted by Harry Davidson, will accompany the Opera Theater. Sung in its original German, the production features projected translations. Tickets are $20 for adults; discounts available for seniors, students and groups. Buy online at cim.edu or call the CIM Box Office at 216.791.5000, ext. 411 for tickets and information.
Inspired by the tale of Hansel & Gretel and their family's struggle with hunger in tough times, a battle faced by 1 in 6 Americans today, CIM will participate in the 2012 Harvest for Hunger campaign to benefit the Cleveland Foodbank. We invite you to join us by bringing a non‐perishable item to CIM on any of the performance days to help those in need in our community. Most needed items include peanut butter, tuna fish, canned vegetables, canned soup, cereal and beef stew.

Klein and the audience. Presented over two seasons, concerts in this series will feature a quartet composed by Béla Bartók, paired with works by other composers that similarly reflect Bartok’s use of folk music as a compositional device.
