What to Expect 

CIM’s audition days are a window into life at our institution. Our in-person audition days are an opportunity for you to get to know us and for us to get to know you as a musician and person. Your audition day will consist of an audition with the faculty of your area of study, an interview with the admissions team, a lunch provided by Partners for CIM, and optional events like information sessions and tours. See your instrument area below for specific dates for in-person auditions.

Audition Schedule for 2025

February 2, 2025: In-Person Auditions

February 9, 2025: In-Person & DMA Auditions** 

February 16, 2025: In-Person & Artist Diploma/Orchestral Fellowship Auditions** 

February 23, 2025: In-Person Auditions 

 **Please note that all DMA auditions will take place on February 9 with diagnostic exams following on February 10, and all Artist Diploma and Robinson Orchestral Career Fellowship auditions will take place on February 16 with finalist auditions occurring on February 17.
