PUCCINI Suor Angelica (Sister Angelica)
MENOTTI Amelia al Ballo (Amelia Goes to the Ball)
Puccini’s Suor Angelica is the touching story of a girl whose family has placed her in a convent, much to her torment. Will she be saved by a miracle? The emotional story will be paired with Menotti’s Amelia al Ballo, the farcical tale of a young lady who must deal with a husband, a lover and multiple misadventures! Don’t miss these one-act operas by two of the 20th century’s most beloved composers.
All productions include projected English text.
Opening night presented in appreciation of The Giant Eagle Foundation
