Financial Aid

For many, the process of applying for and renewing financial aid can be intimidating. Hopefully the information, forms and links contained here will make the process easier for you.

It is of the utmost importance that you carefully read all information sent to you, fill out all forms and documents sent to you in their entirety, and adhere to due dates.

CIM's new student financial aid application process is online and does NOT involve a separate internal CIM financial aid application form. In submitting the online application for admission, you have done all you need to begin the financial aid process. See our How to Apply page for more details of what you will need to do complete your aid request at CIM

Cost of Attendance & Net Price Calculator

The 2014-15 Estimated Summary of Cost of Attendance is now available. Also available is the estimated 2013-14 costs in this Tuition & Fee Schedule.

Use the Net Price Calculator from the U.S. Dept. of Education, customized for the Cleveland Institute of Music, to help you get a basic estimate as to what aid you may receive, based on your financial need - note this is only applicable to undergraduates and is based on 2011-12 academic year data.

Finding Financial Aid Information

NetPartner is the online Financial Aid system used at CIM. This site will be your main reference point once you have formally applied to CIM. In early February, the Financial Aid Office will e-mail all 2014-15 applicants with their login details to access their NetPartner accounts. Students currently enrolled at CIM are required to use their Case e-mail accounts - nearly all Financial Aid correspondence is done via this e-mail.

For specific questions, check the sections of the Financial Aid site in the navigation menu at left, or check the tabbed boxes at right for commonly used forms and links. All of these and more are also available in our Forms and Links sections. You may also check our FAQs page for answers to Frequently Asked Questions about Financial Aid.
