Faculty and incoming students share the music that inspires them

If someone stopped you on the street and asked what piece of music inspires you, would you be able to answer immediately?

Our world-class faculty and highly competitive incoming students certainly could. They have an intimate relationship with classical music and regularly ask themselves just such a question, knowing that their answer is bound to change from year to year as new music flows in and out of their lives.

To celebrate the start of Classical Music Month on September 1, we asked the question—and they answered!
